1. On 22 June, Digital Penang welcomed representatives from Shelter Security Services to WYCE ahead of their official commencement on 1 July 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to introduce the new security management team, familiarise them with the WYCE tenant ecosystem and facility layout, and discuss operational enhancements to ensure a safe and well-managed environment for all tenants 🏢

2. On 22 June, Hanis Harun, Manager of Ecosystem Development at Digital Penang, delivered a sharing session during Minggu Digital USM 2026 at Universiti Sains Malaysia. The session highlighted Digital Penang's initiatives and ecosystem-building efforts while reinforcing the importance of inclusive digital transformation in line with the event's theme, "Transformasi Digital Inklusif untuk Semua" 🎓

From 24–25 June, Digital Penang hosted the Super Boss: Business Digital Transformation Programme, an intensive five-day training designed to help Penang SMEs strengthen their businesses, enhance their branding, and accelerate their digital transformation journey through practical strategies and digital tools 💼

4. On 25 June, Digital Penang collaborated with the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) by providing strategic advisory support for the upcoming Pearl Global Business Awards 2025. The collaboration focused on reviewing and refining the award categories, supporting efforts to position Penang as a premier destination for business excellence and international recognition 🌟

5. On 26 June, the AI Hackathon for Public Sector 2026 reached its Judging Day, where 14 teams presented AI-powered solutions developed within just two weeks using AWS technologies. It was inspiring to witness participants transform ideas into working prototypes that addressed real challenges and demonstrated the growing potential of AI innovation within the public sector 🤖

On 26 June, Digital Penang hosted a podcast featuring Ms Lee Shin Mei, CEO of CTOS Data Systems, exploring how data, trust, AI, and analytics are shaping decision-making in today's digital economy. The conversation provided valuable insights into how organisations leverage data to manage risks, uncover opportunities, and make smarter business decisions 🎙️
