We were honoured to welcome Kyle, Founder & CEO of YuugeAI and a student entrepreneur from Tsinghua University, who shared his remarkable journey of building YuugeAI from zero to millions in just 12 months. Through his session, participants gained valuable insights into validating ideas, achieving Product-Market Fit (PMF), scaling a startup, and exploring opportunities in AI and global expansion. His entrepreneurial journey demonstrated how determination, resilience, and execution can transform ideas into impactful ventures.

1. On 30 June, Digital Penang participated in the Workshop on the Alignment of Policies and Strategies for Startup Ecosystem Development, organised by Cradle Fund and Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI). The workshop gathered ecosystem players to discuss the future of Malaysia's startup ecosystem, where Digital Penang shared recommendations to strengthen funding mechanisms, empower state-level startup programmes, improve access to funding and international markets, and encourage greater corporate-startup collaboration. 🚀

2. On 30 June, Digital Penang successfully concluded the AI Hackathon for Public Sector 2026, celebrating innovative AI solutions developed by public sector teams. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Main Sponsor, Amazon Web Services (AWS), together with our Strategic Partners, Ashisuto Global Technologies and VSTECS Berhad, as well as our judges, trainers, mentors, facilitators, organising team, and congratulate all the winning teams for making the programme a success. 🤖

From 1–2 July, Cradle Fund, in collaboration with Digital Penang, organised Startup Bootcamp 2026 Penang, bringing together startups to validate ideas, gain practical insights, and build valuable connections with founders, mentors, and industry experts. The programme further strengthened Penang's growing startup ecosystem. 💼

4. On 2 July, Penang celebrated the launch of Kooeh: A Timeless Delight, developed by local studio Twilight Foundry Games, becoming the first commercial game from Penang to launch on Microsoft Xbox Series X|S. The press conference also introduced Digital Penang's upcoming Creative-Creator AI OPC Incubator Programme, aimed at empowering creative entrepreneurs through AI-driven content creation. 🎮

5. On 2 July, Digital Penang participated in the Engagement Session with the Chief Minister of Penang for the 2027 State Budget and showcased its programmes and digital initiatives through an exhibition booth, strengthening engagement with state leaders and key stakeholders. 🤝

6. On 3 July, Digital Penang hosted an exclusive SME Corp. Malaysia - Pulau Pinang Industry Visit, providing entrepreneurs with opportunities to network, exchange insights, engage with ecosystem stakeholders, and explore new business collaborations to support digital transformation. 🌟
